Noosphere hosted NASA Space Apps Challenge 2017 in Dnipro
April 29-30 marked the second NASA Space Apps Challenge in Ukraine. This year the global network of host cities was expanded to the city of Dnipro thanks to Association Noosphere, founded by Max Polyakov. Team Spacer from Dnipro worked their way into the Top10 in international voting and ended up taking a prestigious 8th place.

April 22 marked the finals of the third exciting engineering competition, Vernadsky Challenge 2017. After the prize fund was doubled to 2 million UAH in 2016, competition for the Vernadsky Challenge stiffened in 2017. This year’s competition finals were momentous for everyone involved as the legendary Mythbuster, Jamie Hyneman, attended the event.
Noosphere Hosts Dribbble Meetup: Wrap-up
On April 1, 2017, Association Noosphere hosted the first event for designers under the umbrella of Dribbble – a global community of designers and web-developers. More than 150 participants joined the event. They represented not only Dnipro, but also the cities of Kyiv, Odessa, Vinnytsia, Lviv, Cherkassy and Tel Aviv.
World-known data scientist Michal Kosinski Joins AI Rush 2017 by Noosphere
Noosphere recently hosted AI Rush for the second time. The conference for data scientists was held in Dnipro on February 18, 2017. The event brought together 250 participants, among them were analysts, mathematicians, developers who are deeply involved AI and Data Science. Michal Kosinski, a leading psychologist and data scientist, presented for the first time in Ukraine.

Noosphere Engineering School Welcomed Guests
On September 23, the Noosphere Engineering School was pleased to have Leonid Kuchma, the second President of Ukraine, attend the opening ceremony of the Space Lab.
Copter Race 2016
On September 24, Copter Race 2016 was held in Dnipro. This formula 1 race for aerial drones was the fourth battle of its kind organized by Noosphere Engineering School. The first time the event was held was in 2015 – Copter Race 2015, then as part of BestRoboFest 2016 and finally at the World Championships for Space Models 2016
Noosphere Engineering School Raising Future Engineers
On the 14th of September the first session of the “IT Dnipro Children” school was held at the Dnipro City Library with the support of the Noosphere Engineering School.
