Noosphere strives to create an ecosystem where young engineers can collaborate with experienced veterans and scientists to present unique ideas to the world. The Noosphere Engineering School is constantly looking for ways to interact with students and facilitate their desire to develop their own engineering projects.

On 4 and 5 June Dnipro’s Makarov National Aerospace Educational Center for Youth hosted the all-Ukrainian festival for robotics and innovation, BestRoboFest, organized by Noosphere. Over 3000 spectators of all ages attended BestRoboFest.

Noosphere Engineering School has developed the My Police app. The service for mobile phones has an emergency button which allows remote monitoring and assessment by police to improve their performance. Using the app, if a person who witnesses a crime, can inform the police immediately. The free mobile application will be available on Google Play and AppStore on August 24. Dnipro, Ukraine is supposed to be the first city to implement My Police in daily operations.

On August 22-30, Ukraine will host the 2016 FAI World Space Models Championship for the first time. Noosphere is proud to be the partner of the Ukrainian Spacemodelling Sports Federation and supporting the amateur rocketry event in Ukraine. We invite all Lviv residents and visitors to a family-friendly holiday that will include breathtaking rocket launches, hands-on classes for children, and outdoor activities.

Developers from the Noosphere Engineering School in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine have designed a specialized piece of software for artillery teams, intelligence officers, and topographical surveyors. The ArtOS software is currently being used to automatically control artillery guns in the field.

The first Ukrainian robotics festival, BestRoboFest, will take place on 4-5 June in Dnipropetrovsk. The Noosphere-organized event will bring together enthusiasts, inventors, and robots to the first event of its kind in Ukraine.

On April 24, the Ukrainian Youth National Aerospace Education Center in Dnipropetrovsk hosted the final event for the engineering startup competition, the Vernadsky Challenge. This was the second time the international competition has taken place. This year organizers received twice as many applications as 2015. Applicants hailed from a wider range of countries as well, including Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Israel, Albania, India, and Armenia. The added interest of engineers and inventors, and increased publicity of the event, proved that we have found a meaningful and effective way to make the world a better place.

The final battle of the engineering competition from Noosphere Ventures is coming soon! On April 24, the Ukrainian Youth National Aerospace Education Center (Dnipropetrovsk) will host the final event for the engineering start-up competition the Vernadsky Challenge.

On the 12th, April, the whole world celebrates International Day of Human Space Flight. On this day, humankind first dared to venture outside Earth’s atmosphere. On April 12, 1961, Yuriy Gagarin made the first orbital flight around Earth in the spaceship “Vostok”. The flight, which lasted 108 minutes, became a powerful breakthrough in space exploration. It was a scientific triumph and a milestone for all humanity, and especially for those working in the space industry.
