My Police App Will Help People Feel Safe

Noosphere Engineering School has developed the My Police app. The service for mobile phones has an emergency button which allows remote monitoring and assessment by police to improve their performance. Using the app, if a person who witnesses a crime, can inform the police immediately. The free mobile application will be available on Google Play and AppStore on August 24. Dnipro, Ukraine is supposed to be the first city to implement My Police in daily operations.

Max Polyakov announces the Vernadsky Challenge 2016 Winners and Doubles Grand Prizes

On April 24, the Ukrainian Youth National Aerospace Education Center in Dnipropetrovsk hosted the final event for the engineering startup competition, the Vernadsky Challenge. This was the second time the international competition has taken place. This year organizers received twice as many applications as 2015. Applicants hailed from a wider range of countries as well, including Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Israel, Albania, India, and Armenia. The added interest of engineers and inventors, and increased publicity of the event, proved that we have found a meaningful and effective way to make the world a better place.

On April 12, 1961, Yuriy Gagarin made the first orbital flight around Earth in the spaceship “Vostok”. The flight, which lasted 108 minutes, became a powerful breakthrough in space exploration. It was a scientific triumph and a milestone for all humanity, and especially for those working in the space industry.
