Virtual Space, Real Challenges, and Cash Prizes: Noosphere Space Games Are Back!

Association Noosphere and Ukraine Spacemodelling Sport Federation invite school and university students to take part in Noosphere Space Games, a national competition in virtual rocket modeling.

Now in its fifth time, the competition has already attracted over 2,500 participants from across Ukraine. This time, anyone aged up to 24 can join — there’s no minimum age limit. Contestants will compete for a $2,200 prize pool.

This year’s mission comes with a special twist: participants will have to rescue a crew stranded in dangerous space conditions. The task not only builds engineering and problem-solving skills under pressure but also encourages participants to think about how similar solutions can be applied in real life — especially when it comes to safety and saving lives.

Participants will need to:

  • Build a rocket in Kerbal Space Program
  • Rescue the Kerbonauts from an orbital station
  • Safely return them to planet Kerbin

Registration is open until November 11 — sign up here.
